Obituary

Robert "Roebuck" Ralston, 93, of Calhoun, died Monday, September 6, 2021. He was born on May 25, 1928 in Ellijay, GA to the late John Grady Ralston and Viola Kate Sutherland Ralston. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Kimsey Ralston; brothers, James Ralston and Harlan Ralston.
Robert is survived by his daughter-in-law, Sandy Sanford Ralston; grandchildren, Christopher Ralston (Mandy) and Victoria Ralston Silvers (Joel); great-grandchildren, John - Cooper Kimsey Silvers, Thomas Joel Silvers, Sonorah Mae Ralston, Luna Kimsey Ralston; special cousin, Arnold Bell. Many nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.
The family will receive friends Friday, September 10, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Luke Morgan and Rev. Wallace Parks officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are Mitch Ralston, Mike Ralston, Donnie Ralston, Terry Ralston, Tim 'Butch' Ralston, and Josh Carlson.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
The Brannon family and staff are honored to serve the family of Robert "Roebuck" Ralston.
