Robert Wayne Banks

Mr. Robert Wayne Banks, age 44 of Calhoun, passed away Monday, May 18, 2009 at Erlanger Medical Center. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 30, 1964, son of the late Robert Clarence Banks and Mary Rose Sexton Banks. Mr. Banks was employed by the Beaulieu Group, and was a veteran, having served his country in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Sherry Lynn Tate Banks; his mother, Mary Rose Herrero of Plainville; two sons, Robert Kyle Banks and his wife Charlotte of Elua Beach, Hawaii, and Sean Alexander Banks of Calhoun; a daughter, Brandy Sharee Banks of Calhoun; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gregory Allen and Loretta Banks of Summerville, and Ralph William and JoAnne Christine Herrero of Boston, Massachusetts; and a sister, Nancy Herrero of Phoenix, Arizona. Two grandchildren, Chloe and Santana Banks also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Robert Wayne Banks will be conducted Saturday, May 23 at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Brother Jimmie Timms and Brother Terry Timms officiating. Interment will follow in the Fain Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Robert Banks, Sean Banks, Gregory Banks, Ralph Herrero, Christopher Banks, and Tyrone Abbot. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home Saturday at 10:15am. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm.
