Rodger Dale Jaco

Mr. Rodger Dale Jaco, age 58 of Calhoun, died Monday, January 31, 2011 at his residence following a year of declining health. He was born in Lawrenceburg, TN on April 2, 1952, son of Addie Frazier Jaco and the late Monroe Jaco. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Reeves Jaco, and a brother, Mahalon Jaco in August 2010.

Survivors include two sons, Jason Jaco and his wife Sandy, and Josh Jaco, both of Calhoun; two brothers, Jessie Jaco and his wife Kathy of Chatsworth, and Rickey Jaco of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Bonnie and Steve Kearbey of Dalton, Yola and Rodney Fickett of Joelton, TN, and Debbie and Danny Elder of Calhoun; a sister-in-law, Deborah Jaco; and grandchildren, Hannah Jaco, Taylor Jaco, Jared Jaco, Jada Jaco, and Jordan Tanner Jaco. Nieces and nephews surviving are Melinda Smith, Jamie Coulter, Rachel Dutton, Dewayne Ray, Melody Hudson, Jessica Jaco, Jackie Baxter, Robert Elder, Amber Fox, Amy Watts, and Kimberly Johnson.

Funeral services for Mr. Rodger Dale Jaco will be conducted Wednesday, February 2nd at 1:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Dr. William Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in the Chandler Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Morris Etheridge, Ronnie Reeves, Bobby Reeves, Harold Silvers, Glenn Dixon, and Chad Bell. Jeffery Davis and Bill Talley will serve as honorary pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to help with funeral expenses.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00pm until 9:00pm.
