Roger Lamar Jones

Mr. Roger Lamar "Barlow" Jones, age 50, of Calhoun, passed away September 2, 2007 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.

Mr. Jones was born April 4, 1957 in Calhoun, son of the late K.C. Jones and Juanita Harrison Jones. He was employed by Shaw Industries for several years and Johnny's Restaurant. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Mr. Jones is survived by his mother; Juanita Harrison Jones; his best friend, Wanda Jones of Calhoun; daughters Carrie Goins and her husband Gary, of Calhoun, and Wendy Adcock and her husband Sean, of Calhoun; brothers, Leon and Jeremy Jones, both of Calhoun; sisters, Karen Swanson and Mandi Bridwell, both of Calhoun; grandchildren, Caiti, Matthew, Michael, and Caleb Adcock, and Tyler and Demi Goins, all of Calhoun.

Funeral services for Mr. Roger Lamar "Barlow" Jones will be conducted on Wednesday at 2:00pm, from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Butler officiating, and interment to follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Rosedale.

Pallbearers serving will include Dewey Dunnaway, Walt Dunnaway, Sean Adcock, Tommy Ables, Johnny Worley Jr., and Brandon Cochran. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The family will receive friends Tuesday between the hours of 4:00pm and 8:00pm at the funeral home.
