Mr. Ronald Lee Beason, age 71 of Rome, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born in Chattooga County, GA on October 22, 1942, son of the late Robert and Vera Bynum Beason.
Mr. Beason loved fishing and the outdoors. He had operated his own tree service for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Beason; a son, Robert L. Beason of Shannon; two daughters, Connie Beason of Rome, and Rhonda Brown and her husband James of Cleveland, OH; two brothers, Curtis Lovell of Jasper, and Larry Lovell of Rome; and four sisters, Linda Parm of Sugar Valley, Kathy Mathis of Ranger, Robbie Lovingood of Calhoun, and Janice Darrien of Calhoun. Grandchildren surviving are Matthew, Kristie, Lindsey, Haley, Ben, and Heather. Several great-grandchildren also survive.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Ronald Lee Beason will be held Sunday, July 13th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Terry Combs and Rev. Ben Maynard officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Knoll Memorial Gardens in Rome. Pallbearers serving will include Jason Gentry, Dave Haspel, Brandon Mathis, Tommy Parm, Bruce Hicks, and Chris Goodwin.
The Beason family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Saturday, July 12th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
