Obituary

Ronald Dwight "Ronnie" Dupree, 72, of Calhoun, died Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Floyd Medical Center. He was born in Gordon County on December 19, 1946, son of the late Emmett and Esther Colston Dupree.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Belva and Steve Swably; his nephew, Ryan Swably and his wife Christy; his great-niece, Anna Leigh Swably; and his aunt, Helen McDonald, all of Calhoun.
Services to honor his life will be held Tuesday, August 20th at 2:00 PM from Calhoun Community Church, with Dr. Jerry Rice officiating. Music will be arranged by Lowell McKinnon. Burial will follow in Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include Chad King, Chad Bishop, Michael Bingiel, Joel Dupree, Jason Sloan, Maurice Gowens, and Kirk Allen. Honorary pallbearers are the Floyd County Training Center staff, Travis Henderson, Terry Lambert, and Jimmy King.
The family will receive friends at Calhoun Community Church on Tuesday, from 12:00 PM until the service hour.
