Ronnie Joe Arp

Mr. Ronnie Joe Arp, age 57 of Calhoun, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at is residence following an extended illness. He was born in Floyd County, GA on April 1, 1957, son of Claudia Turner Arp and the late Joe Barnette Arp.

During his earlier years, Mr. Arp was with the Cleveland Indians baseball organization.

He leaves behind three sons, Brady Arp and his wife Tracy of Adairsville, Jacob Arp of Calhoun, and Zack Foster of Calhoun; a daughter, Kristin Arp of Calhoun; his mother Claudia Arp of Cartersville; four brothers, Larry Arp of Cartersville, Andy Arp of Dalton, Phil Arp of Savannah, and Ricky Arp of Milledgeville; and grandchildren, Brock Arp, Drake Arp, and Chandler Arnold. Uncles, aunts, and nieces and nephews also survive.

Mr. Arp will be cremated, and there will be no services. The Arp family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Monday, April 28th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be given for funeral expenses to Ronnie Braden Arp, 100 Kuhlman Street, Adairsville, GA 30103.
