Ronnie Lamar Holder

Mr. Ronnie Lamar Holder age 57 of Calhoun died Wednesday March 28th, 2012 at Gordon Hospital. Ronnie was born on May 7th, 1954 in Gordon County, Georgia son of the late Guy and Mozell Smallwood Holder. He was a lifelong resident of Gordon County and was preceded in death by two brothers, Garry Holder and Larry Holder and by two sisters, Brenda Reed and Kathy Holder. Prior to his disability he was employed by Springs Industries.

Mr. Holder is survived by two daughters; Freda Marroquin and Ann Garcia and three sisters; Kay Biggs and her husband David of Calhoun, Fay Johnson of Calhoun and Darlene Hall and her husband Randall of Calhoun. Six grandchildren; Joseph Wheaton, Josh Wheaton, Holly Kile, Naudia Kile, Selena Redwine and Carissa Redwine. One Great-Great Grandchild, Nevaeh Wheaton, sister in law, Jane Holder and a special friend, Linda England along with other relatives survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Ronnie Lamar Holder will be held Saturday March 31st, at 3:00 PM from Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Shawn Nation, Rev. Chris Pack and Rev. Wendall Stover officiating. Music will be arranged by Johnny and Zandra Loggins, Interment will follow in the Union Grove Baptist Church cemetery. Pallbearers serving include; Bobby Prevette, Darrell Pasley, Matthew Hall, Josh Black, Caleb Black and Stephen Biggs. Honorary pallbearers serving include Randall Trammell, Rusty Hobgood, Daniel Clark, Terry Martin, Arly Burke and Vester Preavette.

The Holder family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Friday evening between the hours of 6:00 and 9:00 PM.
