Mrs. Rosie Lee Cochran, age 86 of Calhoun, died Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at Calhoun Health Care Center.

Mrs. Cochran was born on August 13, 1921 in Gordon County, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Fair. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gid Cochran; by one daughter, Sybil McRee, by a son, James Timms, and also by sisters and brothers, Ethel Sloan, Pearl Quinn, Berry Fair, Luke Fair, Quinton Fair and Babe Fair.

Mrs. Cochran is survived by a sister, Minnie Lenning of Calhoun; one brother, Rich Fair of Phoenix City, Alabama; three grandchildren, six great- grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosie Lee Cochran will be conducted Thursday at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Jimmie Timms officiating. Singing will be arranged by Mrs. Barbara King. Active pallbearers selected to serve will include Morris Fair, Zachary Patterson, Shane Couch, Frank Morehead, Jerry Quinn and Ray Quinn. Honorary pallbearers will include Randy Johns and Ricky Land. Burial will follow the service at the Haven of Rest Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Wednesday evening during the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm.
