Obituary

Rozene Greeson Smith, 91, of the Union Grove Community, passed away Friday, September 18, 2020, after several months of declining health. She was born in Gordon County on June 30, 1929, to the late Boston and Frieda Owens Greeson. She graduated from Bellwood School in the class of 1947. She worked for many years until her retirement at Georgia Tufters. Rozene was a member of Plainview Baptist Church. She was proceeded in death by her husband Jack Smith in 1993 and a step-daughter; Jackie Corn.
Rozene is survived by her daughters, Marie Potts and Jacqueline (Mike) Holland; Grandchildren, Brycen Potts, Mikalah (Zachary) Hasty, Katie Ennis, Nathan Walraven, Savannah Walraven; Great Grand Daughter, Marley Hasty; Special cousins, Ronnie Pierce, Andrew Pierce, step-daughter; Betty Knight.
The funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, September 20, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and will continue until the funeral hour. Interment will follow at Blackwood Springs Cemetery.
