Ruby Cantrell Hancock

Ruby Cantrell Hancock, 66 of Calhoun, died Thursday, December 7, 2017 at her home. She was born in Jasper, GA on December 4, 1951, daughter of the late T.D. and Juanita Cantrell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Hancock; and daughters, Amy Lee Anderson and Angela Kay Anderson.
Survivors include her daughter, Kimberly Silvers of Calhoun; brothers, David Cantrell, Jim Cantrell, and John Cantrell, all of Commerce, GA; her sister, Eloise Gilbert of Jasper; and grandchildren, Kayla Silvers and Kate Silvers.
To honor her wishes, her body was cremated, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home of Calhoun.
