Ruby Eidson

Ruby Isabell Clayton Eidson, 86, of Calhoun passed away at Calhoun Healthcare following several months of declining health. She was born in Cherokee County on June 3, 1931; she was the daughter of the late William and Dovie Isabell Gravitt Clayton. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Eidson, in 1999; her son, Ronnie Blankenship, in 2010; her brothers and sisters.
Ruby is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Jackie and Anthony Underwood, and Debbie Williams; her grandchildren, Lynn (Steve) Gray, Ray Blankenship, Penny Rhinehart, Charlie Daniel, Amanda Pack, Debra Blankenship, and Michael Underwood; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
The Eidson family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Monday, August 14, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Acworth. Rev. Steve Clayton and Rev. Allen Ledford will officiate. Music will be arranged by Brenda Grier and Kathy King. Ruby's grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.
