Ruby Jestine Walters

Mrs. Ruby Jestine Walters, age 70 of Calhoun, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at her residence following several years of declining health. She was born in Clarksville, Tennessee on June 13, 1940, daughter of the late Jessie Carver and the late Ruby Parker Carver.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Ellsworth Walters of the residence; two sons, Harold Lewis of Jacksonville, Florida, and Allen Lee Walters of Calhoun; two daughters, Carol Barrera of Fort Worth, Texas, and Evelyn Wilson of Marathon, Florida; and a sister, Evelyn Anderson of Dalton. Twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial services for Mrs. Ruby Jestine Walters will be conducted Tuesday, January 4 at 7:00pm from the Oak Grove Baptist Church, with Rev. Gary Garland officiating.
