Mrs. Ruby Jo Silvers Baldwin, 75 of Ranger, GA passed away Friday, September 18, 2015 at her home. She was born in Murray County on September 9, 1940, daughter of the late Harvey and Mildred Parker Silvers.
Mrs. Baldwin had worked at several local textile mills, including Mannington. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Church of Jesus Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Baldwin, to whom she married on January 10, 1973; her son and daughter-in-law, Rex and Ashley Evans; her daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Travis Childers, Charsie and Frank Bramlett, and Darlene and Paul Reeves, Jr.; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Patsy Silvers; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Marty Jordan, and Wanda and Wayne Perry; grandchildren, Kerry, Tina, Heather, Justin, Heath, Tristan, and Cole; and great-grandchildren, Dalton, Logan, Magen, Ashli, Madisyn, Jacy, Jaxx, Ayden, and Anslie.
Services to honor the life of Mrs. Ruby Jo Silvers Baldwin will be held Monday, September 21st at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Frank Bramlett and Rev. Josh Maddox officiating. Music will be arranged by Madisyn Mniszewski and Ora Mae Fain. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Church of Jesus Christ Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Heath Reeves, Keith Perry, David Reeves, Jacob Reeves, Nathan Underwood, and Brent Silvers.
The Baldwin family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, September 20th, from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
The family would like to thank Northstar Hospice, especially Luke Morgan, Lisa Beasley, and Kim Goddard, who will serve as honorary pallbearers, and Calhoun Drug Company, for their care of Mrs. Baldwin.
