Ruby Randolph

Mrs. Ruby Lee Randolph, age 69 of Adairsville, GA passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Cartersville Medical Center.

Mrs. Randolph was born on August 28, 1942 in Gordon County, daughter of the late J.B. and Carrie Densmore Smith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tresa Randolph, and a son, Charles Randolph.

She was of the non-denominational faith and a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Earnest Kenneth Randolph, Sr., to whom she was married for 51 years; two daughters, Brenda Bowling and her husband Leon of Scottsville, and Elizabeth Jenkins of Adairsville; two sons, Kenneth Randolph and his wife Brenda of Rockmart, and Randy Randolph and his wife Pauline of Rome; four sisters, Stella Leonard of Adairsville, Mary Taylor of Resaca, Janice Chastain of Jasper, and Clara Scott of Calhoun; and three brothers, Vernon Smith of Adairsville, and Jerry Smith and Renis Smith, both of Rome. Fourteen grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruby Lee Randolph will be conducted Wednesday, March 14, at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Brother Bill Overton and Brother Jackie Culberson officiating. Active pallbearers will be grandsons, Jonathan Bowling, Levon Bowling, Aaron Bowling, Dewayne Randolph, Matthew Randolph and Matthew Nichols. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Randolph, Casey Tidwell, Kevin Tidwell and Elijah Tidwell. Interment will follow the service at the Haven of Rest Memorial Park.

The family will begin receiving friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Monday evening at 6:00pm.
