Rusty Crowder

Rusty Crowder, age 38 of Resaca, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2008 in Chicago, Illinois. He was born in Floyd County on January 11, 1970, son of Thomas Leon Crowder and Cathy Garrison Crowder. Rusty was a loving son, father, and brother. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Curtis Crowder, and an uncle, Bobby Crowder.

Survivors include a son, Lason Crowder of Calhoun; three daughters, Andrea Crowder of Calhoun, Lily Paramore of Rome, and Sophie Crowder of Canada; parents, Thomas and Cathy Crowder of Resaca; two brothers, Wesley Crowder of Calhoun, and Brian Crowder and his wife Angie of Resaca; and his grandmother, Christine Crowder of Calhoun. Other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Rusty Crowder will be conducted Friday, September 5th at 11:00am from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Chris Vasser and Gary Jarrett officiating. Interment will follow in the Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will include Brian Crowder, Wesley Crowder, Chris Cook, Donny McCarter, William Crowder, and Michael Crowder. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday between the hours of 5:00pm and 9:00pm.
