Ruth Long Brendel

Ruth Long Brendel, 89, of Adairsville, Georgia died Thursday, March 30, 2023. She was born on September 26, 1933, in Fairmount, Georgia to the late Frank Austin and Edna Kate Crowe Long. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dewey Brendel in 2010; son, Michael Brendel in 2020; daughter, Cynthia Brendel 2007.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald (Becky) Brendel and Terry (Dawn) Brendel; grandchildren, Stephanie Bradford, Amanda Brendel, Ashley Brookshire, Tegan Brendel, Lexi Brendel, Ali Brendel, and Nicolas Brendel; great grandchildren, Adam Bradford, Nick Bradford, Claudia Torres, Gabriel Brendel, Rowan Brookshire, and Emma Brookshire; great great grandchildren, Owen Bradford, Evan Bradford, Lydia Bradford, and Cordelia Bradford; her son Mikes life partner, Becky Rutledge; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be conducted on Monday, April 3, 2023, at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Atchley officiating. Pallbearers are, Nick Bradford, Adam Bradford, and Nicolas Brendel.
