Ruthell Crawford

Mrs. Ruthell Crawford, age 89 of Kennesaw, GA, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012 at WellStar Community Hospice Center following an extended illness.

Mrs. Crawford was born on August 2, 1922 in Gordon County. She was preceded in death by her husband, Western Crawford, and was a member of Acworth Church of God of Prophecy in Acworth.

A loving mother to her children, Shelba Williams of Kennesaw, and Linda Dawson of Tulsa, OK; two sons, Lamar Crawford of Matthews, NC, and Jimmy Crawford of Cartersville; grandchildren, Mark Williams, Russell Crawford, Kiim Fields, Stuart Crawford, Michael Helms and Alan Crawford; and six great-grandchildren. Nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ruthell Crawford will be conducted Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 2:00 pm from the Acworth Church of God of Prophecy, with Rev. Neal C. Wright and Rev. Clinton Fields officiating. Pallbearers selected to serve are Russell Crawford, Alan Crawford, Stuart Crawford, Tom Hanschew, Daniel Jones and James Crawford. Interment will follow the service at the Haven of Rest Memorial Park.

The Crawford family will receive friends at the church on Saturday preceding the funeral at 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm
