Sally Everett Jarrett, 92, of Calhoun, died at her home on Monday, December 11, 2017, following several months of declining health. Sally was born in Memphis, Tennessee on October 2, 1925; she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Maggie Aldridge Everett. Along with her parents, Sally was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-seven years, Doyle Jarrett, in 2002; her brother, Robert Everett; her sister, Betty Whitaker. Sally grew up in Memphis, lived in West Memphis, and moved with her family to the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. She came to Calhoun to be near her children. Sally was a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church.
Sally is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Bryant and Wendy Mancil; her daughter, Ginger Ellis; her brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Nina Everett; her sister-in-law, Peggy Everett; her grandchildren and their spouses, Angel (Steve) Burke, Damien (Brenda) Brewer, Justin (Kayla) Mancil, and Kodi (Dustin) Carnes; her great-grandchildren, Levi Sullivan, Bethany Burke, Chloe Carnes, Kailey Carnes, Hannah Carnes, and Bryson Carnes.
The Jarret family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow the service at Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pastor Tommy Phillips will officiate.
