Obituary

Sandra Annelle Ables Balch, 72, of Resaca, Georgia died Saturday, May 30, 2020. She was born on May 15, 1948, in Gordon County. She was preceded in death by her husband Percy Olin Balch; her sister and brother-in-law, Anita and Malachi Carnes; her brother-in-law, Arnold Holcomb and her sister-in-law, Shelba Ables.
She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, April Lynn Stanley (Pass); brothers, Joel Ables, David Ables (Nina); sisters, Carolyn Jones (Frank), Helen Ables Holcomb, Pam Ables Cooper (Darrel); grandchildren, Zane Gregory Pass (Morgan Kesha Pass), Darby Renee Jessica Forsyth (James Eugene), Macy Noelle Christian Peoples (Harley Wayne); great-grandchildren, Cadenn, Gracelyn, Kinnsley, Renley, Connor, Ryder and Monroe; stepchildren, Michael Keith Balch (Patricia), Angela Fore (David), Sherry Lynn, Marcella Fox (Donall); step-grandchildren, William, Cynthia, Michelle, Misty, Stephen, Keisha, Edward and Dixie along with nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 2, 2020, at 3:00 PM from West Union Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Wylie Walden, Rev. Bo Carnes, and Rev. Stephen Carnes officiating. Pallbearers include Harley Peoples, Zane Gregory Pass, James Forsyth, Dylan Blalock, and Braxton Blalock.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 2, 2020 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
