Obituary

Mrs. Sandra Lynn Graham McCarter, 63, of Rome passed away on Monday, December 28, 2020 at Redmond Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
Mrs. McCarter was born in Selma, AL on January 1, 1957, daughter of the late Charles W. Graham and Peggy J. Gay Sheriff. She was a 1976 Graduate of Calhoun High School and prior to her retirement, she was employed by Gaylord Industries and Mohawk Industries.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry (Bulldog) McCarter to whom she was married for 45 years, sister; Donna Hightower and her husband Tim of Plainville, Sisters-in-law; Patricia Broadrick of Sugar Valley, Edith Lorene Sexton and her husband Clemmie, brother-in-law; Larry McCarter of Ranger along with a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, December 31, 2020 at 3:00 PM from the graveside of Sugar Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
Due to the National Health Crisis and the COVID-19 virus, mask must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when attending the service.
