Sarah "Granny" Treat, 89, of Calhoun, Georgia died Thursday, April 23, 2020. She was born on June 15, 1930 in Vonore, Tennessee to the late Frank and Josephine Maples Reagan. She was preceded in death by her husband, William C. Treat; son, John F. Treat; daughter and sons-in-law, Kay and Benton Meeks and Charles Meeks.
She was a loving mother, wife, and granny. She was of Baptist faith.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Russel Paul and Jennifer Treat; daughters and son-in-law, Polly and Eddie White and Margie Meeks; brothers, James, Henry, Wayne, Tommy, and Melvin Reagan; sisters, Sue Shaw, Minnie Crowden, and Edna May Roberts; grandchildren, Saun Bevans, Dondi Anderson, Elvis Locke, Jimmy Locke, Tina Hunter, Charlee Meeks, Carrie Meeks, Randall Treat, Ryan Treat, Alycia Treat, Mark Hall, Shyan Tittle, Karina Treat, Jessie Meeks, William Meeks, and Johnathan Meeks; great grandchildren, Brandie Young, Shannon McDowell, Dustin Bevans, Cory Bevans, Katelin Bevins, Jordan Bevans, Danny Ibarra, AshleyAnn Anderson, Vincent Anderson, Justin Locke, Madison Locke, Bambi Locke, Dixie Locke, Jamie Locke, Amber Morse, Ashley Overstreet, Tad Kirby, Kristina Lynch, and Cody Baker; several great great grandchildren; other family and friends also survive.
A Graveside service will be held Sunday, April 26, 2020 from Clouse Hill Cemetery in Tracy City, Tennessee, with Rev. Edward White officiating.
