Sarah Jane James

Sarah Jane Burchett James, 62, of Ranger, Georgia, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Calhoun, Georgia on November 23, 1961, to Sarah Elizabeth Caldwell and the late Jerry Glenn Burchett.  In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Tammy Stevenson.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, David James; mother, Sarah Caldwell; brothers, Jerry (Marlene) Burchett, Mark (Rachel) Burchett, Clyde (Cindy) Burchett; sister, Lora (Johnny) Shaw; brothers-in-law, Terry James, Jeffery James; sisters-in-law, Marie Brown, Susan Bullard; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
 A graveside service will be held on Friday, April 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM from Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery with T.J. Burchett and Joseph Burchett officiating.  Pallbearers serving are Alan Shaw, Chris Dean, Michael Burchett, Bobby Burchett, Jackson Burchett, and Eric Coleman.
