Mrs. White was born May 30, 1935, in Randolph County, AL, to the late Robert Brown and Etta Overton Brown.
She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and a longtime member of High Point Church of God. She truly lived the example of the “Virtuous Woman” in Proverbs 31. She dedicated most of her free time to caring for her home. She used her skills as a seamstress while working for Playtex and making clothes for family and friends.
One of her passions was gardening; she was known in the Frolona Community for her beautiful flowers. She also had a vegetable garden each year and enjoyed the fruits of her labor by cooking delicious home-cooked meals for family get-togethers. Her most precious times were spent with her extended family of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving husband, Charlie White of Franklin; two children, Wanda Shadix (Dwaine) and Danny White (Kim) all of Calhoun, GA; four grandchildren: Nathan White (Kim), Kimberly Raines (Jared), Kevin Shadix, and Amber Nasco; seven great-grandchildren: Bryson White, Channa Cassel, August Raines, Charlie Raines, Caroline Nasco, Olivia Nasco, and Amelia Shadix; a great-great-grandchild, Larkin Huckeba; and a number of other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Ralph Brown, Geneva Craven, Dorothy Mitchell, and Annie Ruth Dalrymple, and a half-brother, Smith Brown.
