Shadaia Alyric Turner

Shadaia Alyric Turner, age 10 of Calhoun, passed away Thursday, December 13, 2007 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident along with her mother, Deshea Turner. She was born January 6, 1997 in Gordon County, daughter of Tarell and Deshea Turner. Shadaia was a student at Calhoun Middle School.

Survivors include her father, Tarell Turner; a sister, Cianah Turner; step-brother, Tyler Smith; grandparents, Joe Peardon, Darlene Quarles, and Annise Brooks; and two uncles, Courtney Peardon and Jermaine Kennedy. Other relatives also survive.

Funeral services for Shadaia Alyric Turner will be conducted Tuesday, December 18 at 2:00pm from the Boone Ford Baptist Church, with Rev. Gary Quarles officiating. Interment will follow in the Concord Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday after 4:00pm at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.
