Sharion Virginia (Barton) Stewart

Sharion Virginia (Barton) Stewart, 77, of Calhoun, Georgia, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025. She was born on April 29, 1947, to the late Bud and Johnnie Mae Barton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Stewart; brother, Donnie Barton; and sister, Helen Ellis.

Before her retirement, she was the owner and operator of Sharion’s Silk Flower Outlet. She was a long-time member of Sugar Valley Church of God.

She is survived by her son, Lynn (Debra) Blankenship; daughters, Lesa (Wade) Reece, Marsha (Rodney) Stone, Carol (Tim) Hilton, Pam Smith and Pat Bryson; brothers, Jerry (Linda) Barton and Delbert Barton; sister, Sue (Mike) Reed; grandchildren, Amber Bell, Garrett Bell, Wade Bell, Katelyn Blankenship, Logan Blankenship, Sabra Ford, J.R. Casey, Stewart Casey, Kenny Hilton, and Brian Hilton; great-grandchildren, Maddox Bell, Evan Santana, Brianna Howard, Elaina Howard, Noah Lowery, Abigail Lowery, Gavin Reece, and Zoe Farmer.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 1:00 PM from Sugar Valley Church of God with Rev. Dwaine Shadix and Rev. Joey Henderson officiating. Music will be provided by the Sugar Valley Church of God Praise team. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers are Logan Blankenship, Wade Bell, Maddox Bell, Evan Santana, Garrett Bell, Stewart Casey, and Jimmy Faulkenberry. Honorary pallbearers are Faye Kelley, Dawn Jeffery, Gail Bryson, Nora Pickens, Diane Allen, Martha Gibson, Glenda Kelley, and Argil West.
