Shawn Highfield

Mr. Ernest Shawn Highfield, age 37 of Calhoun died Sunday, May 18, 2014 in Rome, GA.

Shawn was born in Floyd County, GA on September 21, 1976, son of Cynthia Diane Worley Highfield and the late Ernest Harvey Highfield. He was employed by B&B Construction, and was a member of Riverview Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, April Highfield; mother, Cynthia Diane Worley Highfield; three sons, Dawson Highfield, Drayden Williams, and Havyn Highfield; three daughters, Paris Williams, Adalyn Highfield, and Addison Tyree; a sister, Elisa Shae Highfield; nieces, Kayleigh Ownbey and SueAnna Bohannon; and a nephew, Kamdyn Ownbey.

Funeral services for Mr. Ernest Shawn Highfield will be held Friday, May 23rd at 1:00 PM from Riverview Baptist Church, with Rev. Brian Childs and Rev. Jamey Hunt officiating. Interment will follow in Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers serving will include former Armuchee High School football teammates and Kevin Bradshaw. Honorary pallbearers are Patrick Sisson, Tyler Shirley and Brett Stansell.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 23rd between the hours of 11:00 AM and 1:00 PM at Riverview Baptist Church.
