Shelia Ezell Wilson

Shelia Ezell Wilson, 73, of Ranger, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. She was born in Fairmount, Georgia, on June 3, 1951, to the late Jim and Violene Ezell.

Shelia was kindhearted, devoted to her friends and family, and saw her granddaughters as her whole world. She was an excellent seamstress and loved animals, especially her dog Rusty.

Shelia is survived by her husband of 53 years, Edward Wilson; son, Jamie Wilson; daughter and son-in-law, Jada and Justin Barton; sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and Freddy Childers; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charlie and Karen Wilson; sisters-in-law, Katie Sosebee and Jimmie Lou Allen; grandchildren, Analeigh Barton, Meredith Barton, and Emalynn Barton.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Owens officiating. Burial will follow in White Graves Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Steve Ezell officiating. Pallbearers are Mike Mealer, Richard Holleran, Alan Sosebee, Cody Childers, Josh Johnson, and Anthony Johnson.
