Sherry Williams

Sherry Diane Bagwell Quinn Williams, 63, of Calhoun, died on Thursday, April 21, 2016 following several years of declining health.

Sherry was born in Gordon County on January 26, 1953. She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Eugene and Martha Bagwell; her step-father, Clarence Hall. She was a member of New Zion Baptist Church. Prior too ill health, Sherry worked for Harbinger/Mohawk, and for Shaw Industries.

Sherry is survived by her mother, Louise Akin Hall; her daughters and son-in-law, Terina Quinn Fowler, and Kendra Quinn Hall and her husband, Larry Hall Jr.; her grandchildren, Brooke Fowler, MaKenzie Holland, Amberlee Hall, Larry Hall III, and Michelle Hall; her nephew, Heath Bennett; her step-brother, Jerry Bagwell; other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. from New Zion Baptist Church. Rev. Lamar Bearden and Rev. Steve Corbin will officiate. Music for the service will be arranged by JoAnne and Donald Bowen. Burial will follow the service at Chandler Cemetery with Rev. Gene Smith officiating at the graveside. Pallbearers are Heath Bennett, Wayne Cagle, Donald Bowen,Pedro Aranda Michael Angland, and Jamie Angland. Deacons of New Zion Baptist Church and the staff of Gordon Healthcare will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Sherry's family wishes to thank the staff of Gordon Healthcare for the wonderful care she received while she lived there.
