Shirley Ann Painter

Miss Shirley Ann Painter, age 42 of Floyd County, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2007 at Floyd Hospital following several years of declining health. She was born in Vero Beach, Florida on June 12, 1965, daughter of Leonard Paul Painter Jr. of Calhoun, and the late Twala Sue Swimford. Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Sandra Wells and Tina Louise Painter.

Survivors include her father, Leonard Paul Painter Jr. and his wife Sherry of Calhoun; two sisters, Barbara Sue Winkle of Rome, and Lynn Ramza of Calhoun; three brothers, Stephen Painter of Rome, and Paul and William Painter of Calhoun. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 8, in the funeral home chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
