Mrs. Shirley Ellen "Bass" Williams, 75, of Calhoun, passed away Monday at her residence. Shirley was born in Rogersville, TN. on November 18, 1944, to Will and Ruby Bass. She is preceded in death by her husband Charlie Bridewell. Her children; Richard Williams and Willie Williams. One sister Edith Ramsey and one brother Hugh Lee Bass.
She is survived by her children; Ronald and Judy Williams; Grandchildren; Justin Williams, Brooke Williams, Step Grandchildren: Laura Parker, Chad Hamsley; Great Grandchildren: Nicholas Williams, Sylvia Garcia, Lynkyn Williams, Alyssa Williams, Mollie Payne; Brothers and Sisters: Jean Lovin-Phillips, Bea Williams, Beverly Barnett, Calvin Bass, Georgie Walters. Five step-great-grandchildren and two Step Great Great Grand Children also survive.
The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, May 8th at 2 pm from Broom Funeral Home located at 513 E. Main Street, Rogersville, TN, 37057. Visitation will be held at Max Brannon and Sons on Wednesday, May 6th, from 6-9 pm.
