Shirley Hensley Coffey

Mrs. Shirley Hensley Coffey, 81 of Calhoun, died Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at her home. She was born in Walnut Grove, GA on November 2, 1934, daughter of the late Elmer and Mae Page Hensley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Coffey in 2005; a son, Alan Scott Coffey; and brothers, Guinn Hensley and Jeryl Hensley.

Mrs. Coffey was retired from K-Mart. She was a member of Sonoraville Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Connie Coffey of Oviedo, FL; a daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Scott Hood of Calhoun; a daughter-in-law, Karyn Coffey; a sister, Peggy Meriweather; grandchildren, Alan Coffey, Jr., Tricia Daninger, Justin Coffey, Alison Coffey, Kaitlynn Hood, Kassidy Hood, Maddie Hood, Jacob Hood, Thomas Barry, and Kimberly Gaps; a great-grandchild, Xander Daninger; and a niece, Patricia Killingsworth.

A memorial service to honor the life of Mrs. Shirley Hensley Coffey will be held Friday, December 4th at 2:00 PM from Sonoraville Baptist Church, with Rev. Steve Skates and Rev. Zack Baker officiating.
