Obituary

Mr. Stephen Paul "Steve" Ogletree, 76, of Calhoun went home to be with his Lord on Friday, October 9, 2020.
Steve was born in Detroit, MI., on March 3, 1944, son of the late Frederick Clifford Ogletree and Lois McCamy Ogletree. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Sheila Harris Ogletree in 2009, brother; David Ogletree, and his loyal fur baby, Ella. He was a graduate of Valley Point High School in Dalton and West Georgia College. Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Shaw Industries as manager of credit and claims. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a Christian and a Baptist.
Steve is survived by a step-son; Derrick Davis, brother; Mike Ogletree, nieces; Laura Greif and Natalie Ruge, great-nieces and nephews; Madeline Greif, Chase Greif, Evan Ruge, and Alexander Ruge, His loyal companion, Joann White, and her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of whom he considered as his own.
A memorial service for Steven Paul "Steve" Ogletree will be conducted Monday, October 12, 2020, at 7:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Monday between the hours of 5:00 PM and the service hour of 7:00 PM.
