Obituary
Steve Bryant, 58, of Calhoun died Wednesday, September 19, 2018. He was born in Calhoun, GA on September 18, 1960, son of the late Ernest Lionel (Butch) Bryant and Carolyn Baker Bryant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Carl and Ruth Baker; his mother-in-law, June Rogers; an uncle, Charles Jack Baker; and two aunts, Margie Long and Retha Smith.
Steve attended Sugar Valley Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Floyd Bryant; a daughter, Tracie Crowsey; step-children, Michael and Penny Crowder, Jeffrey Crowder, Kimberly Mathis, and Candace Arnold; grandchildren, Ashton, Jayden, Morgan, Erika, Austin, Cheyenne, Breanna, Luke, Trevor, and Briley; a great granddaughter, Aubree; sisters-in-law, Louise Southerland and Glenda Croy; father-in-law, Glenn Rogers; an aunt, Charlotte Baker; and many other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 22nd at 2:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Rev. Dwaine Shadix will officiate. Burial will follow at Fain Cemetery. Pallbearers serving are Marty Worley, Tony Brown, Doug Bryant, Gerald White, Wayne Brown, David Bryant, and Jack McGaskey. Music will be arranged by Sandy Long.
The Bryant family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 21st from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
