Steve James Williams

Mr. Steve James Williams age 52 of Calhoun passed away Wednesday December 13, 2006 at his residence. He was born in Gordon County on August 9, 1954 son of the late John H. Williams and the late Loretta Young Pitts. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one brother Richey Hogan.

Survivors include his wife Betty Lou Nicholson Williams of Calhoun. Four stepsons; Frank, Michael, Randall and Wendall Thompson all of Calhoun. One stepdaughter; Peggy Thompson of Calhoun. Four brothers; Billy Williams of Dallas, GA, John Williams of Dalton, GA, Eddie Greeson and Geoffrey Rayburn both of Calhoun. Three sisters; Jacqueline Jones of Calhoun, Lawanda Williams of Dalton and Patricia Sexton of Resaca. Ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren also survive.

Memorial Services will be conducted Friday December 15, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Jarrett officiating. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Friday after 11:00 a.m.
