Steven J. Carter

Mr. Steven J. Carter, 67, of Pulaski, GA, formerly of Calhoun, died Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah. He was born in Hamilton County, TN on November 26, 1948, son of the late Retho and Joyce Nesbitt Carter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Carter.
Steven was a veteran, serving his country in the US Army.
Survivors include his aunt, Mrs. Norma Mincey of Calhoun; a host of cousins; and a niece.
A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, November 6th at 2:00 PM from Fain Cemetery, with Military Honors. Pallbearers will include Randy Mincey, Don Mincey, Jimmy Carter, and Bobby Harrison.
The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM.
