Mrs. Syble Williams Burgess, 88 of Chatsworth, GA died early Saturday, May 7, 2016 at her home. She was born on May 27, 1927, daughter of the late Arvie and Maudie Williams. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, C. L. Burgess; brothers and sister-in-law, J.W. and JoAnn Williams, and Billy Williams; sisters and brothers-in-law, Ida Mae and Martin Manley, Kenneth Sosebee, and Opal Williams.

Mrs. Burgess was retired from Crown Craft. She was a member of Faith Worship Center in Chatsworth.

Survivors include a sister, Arvie Jo Sosebee of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Jesse Correll and Phoebeann Correll; nieces and nephews, Sharon Vineyard, Brenda Manley, Judy Bagley, Evelyn Wright, Kathy Williams, Beverly Williams, John Williams, Travis Manley, and Bryon Sosebee; her Goddaughter, April Edwards; and a host of other nieces and nephews.

Services to honor the life of Mrs. Sybil Williams Burgess will be held Tuesday, May 10th at 2:30 PM from Eton Baptist Church, with Rev. Dennis Childers and Chaplain Tommy Deal officiating. Interment will follow in the Holly Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include John Williams, Travis Manley, Jeremy Bagley, Tim Bell, and Tony Smith. Honorary pallbearers are Jamie Bagley, Chris Bell, Terry Wright, and Corey Elliott.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 9th from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Eton Baptist Church.
