Obituary

Tammy Michelle Duke, 51, of Calhoun, passed away at her home on Monday, February 12, 2018, following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Rowena Williams, and Frank and Mable Duke.
Tammy was loved by everyone. Her love for animals was special to her. She was in Special Olympics, Winners Club, and Gordon County Training Center. She was a member of Resaca First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her parents, Thomas and Janice (Williams) Duke; her little dog, Flipper; special friends, Ann Dooley and Cathy Lanier; and a host of cousins.
Tammys body will be cremated, and a Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, February 14th at 1:00 PM, from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Kelly officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, from 12:00 noon until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to The American Cancer Society, or the Gordon County Animal Shelter.
