Tasha Michelle Holbert

Tasha Michelle Holbert, age 21 of Calhoun, passed away Saturday February 16, 2008. She was born in Floyd County on May 2, 1986, daughter of Gilbert Holbert and Felicia Edwards Brown. She was a cashier at Knights Chevron and was of the Baptist Faith.

Miss Holbert was preceded in death by a grandfather, William (Bill) Holbert, a grandmother, Betty Sue Edwards, and by an uncle, Billy Holbert.

Survivors include a son Melvin (Dakota) Jones, and a daughter, Elisabeth Ann Jones, both of Calhoun; father, Gilbert Holbert and his wife Melinda of Calhoun; mother, Felicia Edwards Brown and her husband Randy of Adairsville; one sister, Kasey Holbert of Calhoun; grandparents, Melvin and Mary Edwards of Adairsville, and Joyce Holbert of Calhoun. Uncles, Wade Holbert and his wife Kathy, and Rusty Holbert and Gabe Edwards, all of Calhoun; cousins and other relatives also survive.

Funeral Services for Tasha Michelle Holbert will be conducted Wednesday February 20, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Adairsville. Pallbearers serving will include Bradley Brown, Brandon Brown, Zachary French, John Holbert, Justin Holbert and Terry Leatherwood. The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Wednesday after 10:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
