Ted Stanley Maddox

Theodore “Ted” Stanley Maddox, 62, of Calhoun, Georgia passed away at his residence on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 29, 1962.

Ted proudly served in the United States Army. He was a Christian, a well-loved family man, and will be fondly remembered by his friends. Ted was a driver for CTI and later worked in maintenance at Apache Mills and Mohawk. He loved his Harley Davidson.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. John Henry and Shirley Davis Maddox, by his sister, Mary Hollis, and by his father-in-law, Tom Jackson.

Suviving is his wife of more than 28 years, Debbie Quiroz Maddox; his stepchildren, Jose Perez (Brent). Ruben Perez (Katerina), Carlos Quiroz (Kayla); his grandchildren, Jariah, Jentzen, and Amelia; his sister, Shelia Maddox; his brother, Ronnie Maddox (Robin); his mother-in-law, Lola Rich Jackson; many nieces, nephews, and friends. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 20, 2024, from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024, at 1:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons with Carlos Quiroz officiating. Military honors will be presented by the United States Army Honor Guard.
