Terry Lee Leatherwood

Mr. Terry Lee Leatherwood, age 46 of Ranger, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2009 at Floyd Medical Center. He was born in Gordon County on October 23, 1962, son of the late James A. (Buck) Leatherwood and Maxine Leatherwood Harcrow. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by grandparents, Ben Steele, and William and Charity Leatherwood. During his lifetime, he was employed with True Hardwoods, and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Leatherwood is survived by his mother and step-father, Maxine and Walter Harcrow; two daughters, Amy Leatherwood and Kaycee Leatherwood; a brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Lori Leatherwood; and a sister and brother-in-law, Karin and Craig Jones, all of Calhoun. Nephews; Eric Jones, Tyler, Chase and Dusty Leatherwood; and grandmother, Hazel Morris also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Terry Lee Leatherwood will be conducted Monday, April 6 at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Eddie Brannon officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Active pallbearers will include Gilbert Holbert, Ricky Henson, Michael Gallman, Jason Pierce, Russ Jones, and Wade Holbert. These gentlemen are asked to meet at the funeral home Monday at 1:15pm.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Sunday evening between the hours of 6:00pm and 9:00pm.
