Thomas Clarence White

Mr. Thomas Clarence White, 67 of Calhoun, died Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Gordon Hospital following an extended illness. He was born in Villanow, GA on September 18, 1948, son of the late Roy and Jessie Clemons White. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ledford White in 2012; brothers, Gene White, Raymond White, and Hollis White, all of Villanow; sisters and brothers-in-law, Sylvia Oxford of Villanow, Maxine and Witty Franklin of Calhoun, and James Gazaway of Villanow.

Thomas was a veteran, serving his country in the US Army from 1965 until 1968.

Survivors include his sisters and brother-in-law, Dianne Gazaway and Odella and Sidney Kinsey; and his sister-in-law, Faye White, all of Villanow.

Services to honor the life of Mr. Thomas Clarence White will be held Saturday, March 5th at 1:00 PM from Evangelistic Outreach Ministries, with Rev. Mark Kirby and Rev. Larry Kirby officiating. Interment will follow in White's Cemetery in Walker County. Pallbearers will include Tony Temple, Chad Temple, Alex Kirby, Tim White, Chuck Blevins, and Tony Franklin.

The White family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home on Friday, March 4th from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
