Thomas Land

Thomas Louvain Land, 74, of Weeki Wachee, FL, passed away on June 20, 2023. He was born on May 23, 1949, in Calhoun, GA. Thomas was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and step-grandfather.

Thomas was a very positive and kind-hearted individual, always radiating warmth and love to those around him. He was known for his strong work ethic and his ability to connect with anyone he met, never considering them as strangers but as potential friends. Family was at the center of Thomas's life, and he was deeply committed to his wife, Sheila Land of 56 years, and their children Kimberly (Walt) Alli, Wendy Land, and Todd Land. He also adored his grandchildren Jocelyn Schindler, Brooks Clark, Noah Alli, and step-grandchildren Christina Lewis and Madeline Lewis.

Thomas was predeceased by his parents Hugh and Rena Land, and survived by his sisters Lonna (predeceased Walter) Crump, Shela Atchley and all extended family and friends.

Professionally, Thomas had a successful career in sales, where he excelled in building relationships and connecting with clients. His dedication and hard work made him a respected figure in his field.

In his free time, Thomas enjoyed playing golf, as well as watching and playing baseball and softball. These hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to relax and unwind.

A memorial service to celebrate Thomas's life will be held on August 4 at Peace Hall in New Port Richey, FL.
