Thomas Llyod Cronan

Mr. Thomas Lloyd Cronan, 89, of Talking Rock, GA died Sunday, February 15, 2015 following an extended illness. He was born in Lumpkin County, GA on December 18, 1925, son of the late Millard Cronan and Lossie Burgess Cronan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death in 1999 by his wife Maggie Lean Kirby Cronan, to whom he was married to for 55 years.

Mr. Cronan was a retired farmer and timber cutter.

He is survived by six sons, Archie Cronan and his wife Joyce of Talking Rock, Robert Cronan and his wife Dee of Jasper, Danny Cronan and his wife Ann of Ellijay, Jeff Cronan and his wife Sharon of Talking Rock, Randy Cronan and his wife Arlene of Talking Rock, and Jamie Cronan of Oakman, GA; two daughters, Peggy Crump and her husband David of Talking Rock and Susan Cronan of Suches, GA; two brothers Curtis Cronan and Newman Cronan; nineteen grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Thomas Loyd Cronan will be held Tuesday, February 17th at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Curtis Easley and Rev. Thomas Quinton officiating. Interment will follow at Haven of Rest Memorial Park. Pallbearers serving include Lamar Crump, Jody Crump, Chris Crump, Joey Cronan, Shane Cronan, Johnathan Cronan, and Trevor Braswell.

The Cronan family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, February 16th from 4:00 PM till 9:00 PM. The family requests that flowers be omitted and donations be made to the Georgia Chapter Alzheimer's Association, 922 East Morris Street, Dalton, GA 30721.
