Obituary
Mr. Timothy "Scott" Bomar, 50, affectionally known as "Scotty-ro" of Plainville, died Sunday at his residence following a heart attack.
Scott was born in Rome, GA. on December 4, 1969, son of Jerry and Lynda Hughes Bomar. He was a Minister of the Gospel, musician and was a member of Kingdom Living Ministries of Dalton.
Survivors include his children; Whitney Stirnemann and her husband Derek, Jessica Bomar and Zackery Bomar and his wife Morgan. Grandchildren; Lawrence Stirnemann, Mary Savannah Stirnemann, Porter Bomar, Piper Bomar, Natalie Bomar, Mallory and Devin Lecroy, and Olivia Lee. His parents; Jerry and Lynda Hughes Bomar, Brothers; Todd Bomar and his wife Angela and Preston Bomar. One nephew, Dakota Bomar and niece, Baylie Bomar of Plainville.
Due to recent concerns over COVID-19, the family will have a private service to celebrate the life of Timothy "Scott" Bomar on Wednesday, May 6, 2020, from the chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home with Apostle Curtis Moore, Terry Reisner, and Todd Bomar officiating. Interment will follow in Chandler Cemetery. Pallbearers serving will include; Todd, Preston and Zackery Bomar, Derek and Lawrence Stirnemann and Thad Hefner. Honorary pallbearers include; Dakota Bomar, Carl Hughes, Ricky Walker, Jason Ferrell, and Ritchie Pierce.
