Tina Priest

Mrs. Tina Georgette Baldwin Priest, age 49 of Calhoun, GA passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at Redmond Regional Medical Center. She was born in Jasper, FL on June 22, 1963, daughter of George and Nila Johnson Baldwin.

Tina was preceded in death by her former husband and the father of her son, James Gary Priest, Sr. in 2003.

She was a graduate of Calhoun High School and Georgia Highlands College, and had been employed with Redmond Regional Medical Center for 13 years as a Registered Nurse.

She loved horses, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, James and Shirley Priest of Calhoun; parents, George and Nila Johnson Baldwin of Calhoun; five brothers, David Baldwin and his wife Velvet, George Baldwin, Jr. of Milledgeville, Sam Baldwin of Decatur, Ken Baldwin and his wife Ruby of Ranger, and Wade Baldwin and his wife Vivian of Calhoun; two sisters, Donna Blair of Plainville, and Janice Clark and her husband Alford of Calhoun; and grandchildren, Abby Priest and Shayla Priest.

Funeral services to honor the life of Mrs. Tina Georgette Baldwin Priest will be held Saturday, July 14th at 2:00pm from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Chaplain Billy Murdock officiating. Interment will follow in Gordon Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will include Dallas Bryant, Billy Clark III, Anthony Baggett, William Priest, Wayne Priest, and Jeff Talley. Honorary pallbearers will be physicians, nursing staff, and support staff of Redmond Regional Medical Center.

The family will receive friends at Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home Friday after 5:00pm.
