Obituary

Toney Schrivner, 96, of the Fairmount Community died at her daughter's home on Saturday, January 9, 2021. She was born in Whitfield County. She was preceded in death by her parents and her children: David Bennett, Judy Kilbey, Lee Ledford, Larry Ledford, Loretta Ledford, and Jackie Ledford. Toney was a longtime member of Evangelistic Outreach Ministries.
She is survived by her children, Jesse Bennett, Dean Masters, Benny Bennett, Delmar Ledford, Faye Wood, Brenda Skinner, Lucy Cook, and Ronnie Ledford; one hundred and forty nine grandchildren, including 80 grandchildren, eighty four great-grandchildren, and twenty-five great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Evangelistic Outreach Ministries on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow the visitation at Evangelistic Outreach Ministries on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. Burial will follow in the family plot at Old Sugar Valley Methodist Church Cemetery. Pastor Mark Kirby and Pastor Barry Bennett will officiate.
