Tony "Tubby" Chastain

Tony "Tubby" Chastain, 62, of Oakman, died Monday, June 5, 2017 at Floyd Medical Center. He was born in Gordon County on August 6, 1954, son of the late Harvey and Stella Chastain. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Silvers; a nephew, Dewayne Chastain; and a great-nephew, Andrew Silvers.
Tubby attend Fairmount Schools. He loved his motorcycles and working on old cars.
Survivors include his brothers and sisters-in-law, Leon and Betty Chastain, Edward and Elsie Chastain, Troy and Janie Chastain, and Gerald and Janie Chastain.
Services for Tony "Tubby" Chastain will be held Friday, June 9th at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home, with Pastor Dustin Stancell and Rev. Jason Seritt officiating.
The Chastain family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, June 8th from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Tony "Tubby" Chastain Memorial Fund, P.O. Box 1027, Calhoun, GA 30703.
