Troy Collins

Mr. Troy Edward Collins, age 73 of Calhoun, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Jackson, AL on December 9, 1939, son of the late Asco and Mollie Gray Collins.

Mr. Collins was retired as a Security Guard with Hercules Carpets.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Virginia Lee Ray Collins; five sons, Billy Collins and his wife Ruby, Tommy Collins and his wife Janice, Kelly Collins and his wife Sabrina, James Collins and his wife Betty, and Cleaburn Collins, all of Calhoun; two brothers, Floyd Collins of Ider, AL, and Kenneth Collins of Henegar, AL; three sisters, Dorothy, Elizabeth, and Mattie, all of Alabama; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Collins body will be cremated, and a private family service will be held at a later date.
