Mrs. Vera Mae Moore, age 61 of Calhoun died Friday evening November 23, 2007 at her residence following an extended illness.
Mrs. Moore was born on July 22, 1946 in Marietta, daughter of the late R.T. Blanchard and Christine Cowart Blanchard. She was an employee of Ingle's Market of Calhoun and was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Kennesaw.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her husband, Bobby Moore of the residence; two daughters, Cindy Stephens and her husband Scott of Dallas, and Lynn Cantrell and her husband Chris of Rydal; one sister, Margaret Sharpe and her husband Bob of Calhoun; two brothers, Hershel Blanchard and his wife Becky of Marietta; and Raymond Blanchard and his wife Sue, of Cartersville; and two grandchildren, Cody Moore and Parker Cantrell. Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Vera Mae Moore will be conducted Monday at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home, with Rev. Larry Towe officiating. Pallbearers serving will include Andy Johns, Lonnie Cowart, Lamar Sullivan, Steve Cowart, Greg Hood and Chris Blanchard. Interment will follow in the Gordon Memorial Gardens. The family will begin receiving friends at Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home Saturday evening after 5:00 p.m.
